Please join us at Chattahoochee-Flint RESA for the first cohort for school districts with the purpose of increasing cybersecurity practices. Districts will participate in (3) days of face-to-face training and (1) self-paced online course. 

CoSN (Consortium of School Networks) will be facilitating the sessions with additional support from CF-RESA and GaDOE. In addition to the 3 training sessions, each participant will get 12 months of access to CoSN online course content. Each district team will have in-depth training on an Incident Response Plan, a readiness self-assessment, and a simulation experience.

The dates and locations are as follows:

• January 25, 20223 - Chattahoochee-Flint RESA 
  • 9am - 4pm
  • Light Breakfast and Lunch Provided

• March 1, 2023 - Chattahoochee-Flint RESA
  • 9am - 4pm
  • Light Breakfast and Lunch Provided

• June 5, 2023 - Middle Georgia RESA (Warner Robins)
  • 10am - 2pm
  • Lunch Provided

Each district may register up to 4 participants for this training. Your security team may include participants from positions of the IT Director, IT Staff, Curriculum Director, Finance Director and Superintendent.

   2. Communication Plan
2. COSN courses badged
3. Self-assessment completion
4. Simulation experience
