The LETRS course of study provides educators with a deeper understanding of the science of reading by covering all layers of language organization (phonology, orthography, morphology, syntax, semantics) and their relevance for teaching reading, spelling, and oral language.

 

Target Audience:  Educators who are participating in the Rural Instructional Supports Literacy Initiative who have already completed Volume 1

Instructors: Kelly Chester and Mandy Butler

Participants should bring their laptop and LETRS Volume 2 Manual.

Dates of Course:  August 31 (Unit 5) at RESA, November 30 (Unit 6) at RESA, February 22 (Unit 7) at SGTC, and May 9 (Unit 8) at GSW School of Education Room 100
