Training designed to build capacity for ID teachers to implement best practices, prepare for GAA, and support adaptive skills learning. 

Topics may include:

- Making Use of Daily Classroom & Student Schedules

- Ten Things Students with Autism Wish You Knew

- Access to the Curriculum using the SLDS/TRL

- Choice Making for Access & Assessment

- Utilizing Adapted Literature for Communication & Language Development

- Multisensory Communication

- Positive Behavior Supports

- Using Visuals to Support Student Instruction

- Instructional Strategies using Evidence-Based Practices

- Embedding IEP Objectives into Curricular Access

- Embedding Adapted Living Skills into the Curriculum

- Effective Use of Centers & Stations

- Using "I Have/ You Have" Loop & Comprehension Game Activities Across the Curriculum

- Writing Basic IEP Objectives
