 More Details

Characteristics of Gifted Students is Course 1 of 3 in the Gifted Endorsement series. Candidates must complete all three courses to receive their Gifted Endorsement. The three courses run from August through May.

This 50 hour course (5 PLU’s) provides an overview of the characteristics and needs of gifted learners.  Cognitive, social-emotional, achievement, and behavioral characteristics of gifted children require different instructional design. The knowledge gained in this course will serve as the foundation that will allow participants to address those needs in the classroom.

The Endorsement Program Application and other information pertaining to the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Gifted Endorsement Program can be found under the Professional Learning / Endorsement tab on our website, cfresa.org.

The Endorsement Program Application must be completed before a candidate is considered fully registered for the program.

Class dates are as follows:

Face to Face: August 14, September 13 and 20, October 11

Asynchronous Learning: August 23 and 30, September 6 and 27, October 4 and 18
