Course Description More Details
The LETRS course of study provides educators with a deeper understanding of the science of reading by covering all layers of language organization (phonology, orthography, morphology, syntax, semantics) and their relevance for teaching reading, spelling, and oral language.
Target Audience: Educators who are participating in the Rural Instructional Supports Literacy Initiative
Instructors: Mandy Butler
Participants should bring their laptop and LETRS Volume 1 Manual.
Dates of Course:
August 24 (Unit 1), November 3 (Unit 2), January 31 (Unit 3), and May 13 (Unit 4)
First three classes will meet at SGTC. May 13 class will meet at RESA.
