Course Description More Details
This course will offer a wide variety of skills and techniques that teachers may use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and academically productive in class. Educators will understand how to use various classroom-management strategies effectively to minimize behaviors that impede learning for both individual students and groups of students, while maximizing the behaviors that facilitate or enhance learning. Teachers will understand the tools needed to meet and exceed the expectations of TKES Standard 7: Positive Learning Environment.
This is a two day class: September 12 and October 26
Target Audience: New and Experienced Teachers, Educators looking for new and creative management strategies to help students of all age levels stay focused in the classroom
