This course is designed for GaTAPP candidates to be certified in Middle Grades 4-8. The program of study covers the concepts, theories, and philosophy of middle level education. A primary focus will be understanding the unique nature and development of young adolescent students. During this course, students will examine the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological development characteristics of young adolescents while planning to meet their instructional needs.
