Target Audience:  District and school leaders who are in charge of creating the master schedule. School/district teams are welcome to attend.

Instructor:  Dr. MaryKay Berry, Director of Student Services, White County School System

Location: Georgia Southwestern State University, 800 GSW State University Drive, Americus, Ga, 31709.  Education Building - Room to be determined.

June 17: During this session, Dr. Berry will share how to effectively schedule co-teaching teams so they have the greatest opportunity for common planning time. She will also share how some inadvertent scheduling practices are barriers for teachers as they work toward delivering powerful, highly effective instruction. What is the most efficient way to develop your school's master schedule? How can you schedule students, teachers, paraprofessionals, and classes so that you increase student learning, use human resources effectively, and maximize the amount of FTE dollars that you earn?  During this session, Dr. Berry will answer all of those questions, starting with students with disabilities.  Bring your current scheduling work and your questions, and Dr. Berry will provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to ensure you are on the right track.
