Join us as we partner with the GaDOE’s GRE4T initiative for a second year as we work to build on your school’s current strengths and instructional focus areas to personalize learning for your students.  This year we want to continue our work with last year’s instructional coaches, but invite more instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and teachers working with the coaches and teachers to participate. You will walk away with ideas and strategies to implement immediately. 

The course content will better prepare participants to:

• Consider student’s strengths and needs
• Focus on student engagement
• Allow for student voice and choice
• Include flexibility of instruction and resources
• Encourage reflection and goal setting
• Embrace mistakes as learning opportunities

This year we will focus on the following:

Building Relationships/Effective Feedback                    September 8 or 20, 2023

Choice Boards                                                           October 2 or 23, 2023

Assessments & Station Rotation                                  Jan. 17 or Feb. 1, 2024

Personalization vs Differentiation                                 March 11 or 25, 2024

**Participants are to choose ONE of the two dates offered for each topic.**

Locations:

• Fall 2023—SGTC
• Spring 2024-- Auditorium

Target Audience: 

• Instructional Coaches
• Teacher Leaders
• Teachers in coaching cycles or working closely with instructional coaches and teacher leaders

Bring laptops and homework assignments assigned by the instructor.
