The LETRS course of study provides educators with a deeper understanding of the science of reading by covering all layers of language organization (phonology, orthography, morphology, syntax, semantics) and their relevance for teaching reading, spelling, and oral language.

 

Target Audience:  Educators who are participating in the Rural Instructional Supports Literacy Initiative

Participants should bring their laptop and LETRS Volume 1 Manual.

Dates of Course

September 13 (Unit 1), February 12 (Unit 2), March 20 (Unit 3), and May 8 (Unit 4)

Please note the February 12 class will be at RESA in Ellaville. The remaining three classes will be held at SGTC in Americus.
